Vassar Haiti Project was my Vassar family. The people involved, including Lila and Andrew and all of the incredible student volunteers, were some of the most generous, kind, idealistic, and hardworking people I've ever met. I was so lucky to have the chance to travel to Haiti twice with VHP, and meet our amazing partners on the ground. The lessons of courage and kindness, joy and compassion, that I learned with VHP continue to inspire me."
