“I often look back and think about VHP fondly. There are many non-profit organizations in New York City, but I feel that VHP is one organization that is truly making an impact on the developing countries out there. Thinking about the bright big eyes of the children in Haiti makes me want to be involved with VHP as an alum as well and continue to contribute to our projects in Haiti in whichever capacity possible. I still distinctly remember working with Lila, Andrew, and other VHP-ers on our auctions of beautiful Haitian art. What a wonderful experience - to know that we were making an impact! What I also really miss is the people in VHP; I made some of my best friends in this tight community and will always be grateful for that! ”
